The Process
To ensure you know exactly what to expect after applying to KA, we have outlined the first steps below—from your application to your full integration into our team, which is looking forward to welcoming you. Click on the individual tiles to find out more.
We will receive your application electronically. We will carefully review your documents and then conduct a detailed telephone interview to get to know each other and clarify any open questions.
After the phone call, we will invite you to an initial interview—either in person or via Teams—together with the specialist department and the HR department. If this goes well, a second interview will follow directly in our offices with the specialist department, the manager, and the management team. This will give you a comprehensive impression of your potential new team and our company.
After the interview, you will receive the employment contract so that you can review everything at your leisure and sign it.
On your first day, we will take care of all the bureaucratic matters: signing the data protection documents, handing over documents for group accident insurance, company pension scheme, and an overview of our benefits. You will also receive a laptop, keyboard, and everything else you need to get started. We will show you where to find important materials—from the first aid kit to the materials room—and we will create your employee ID card. The day will be rounded off with a group lunch, where you will get to know your team and receive an initial overview of the drives.
The second day marks the start of your training. Your team has drawn up a structured plan, and all your colleagues are on hand to act as mentors. Thanks to our small teams, everyone supports each other, so you can get help with technical or organizational questions at any time.
Over the following weeks, the individual departments will introduce themselves in detail so that you can gain a comprehensive insight into their work. Thanks to the short distances between all specialist departments, you will quickly find your feet and be able to network effectively.
